“When I was a child, I spent summer vacations with my family on the coast of Espirito Santo.

The artist makes a collage on the political map of Brazil, where she displaces the state of Espirito Santo and places it as an island in the Atlantic Ocean. The state of Minas Gerais “also” belongs to the edge of the ocean, with its city located in the forested area of Minas Gerais very close to the sea.
