The idea is compose a scenario: the old projected family photo, in which I am present as a child and I stand today beside this photo to create a scene. In “pose” like traditional photos.
The scene, impregnated with past and memory, becomes at that moment of the present click, only to be the past.
This is about the past, the present of what happened and the future of the image and its reading.
The past is not exhausted, that there is still a lot to talk about. The condensed scene is the motto for investigations and narratives that is part of my work in the visual arts.
"Despite all the expertise of the photographer and everything that is planned in his behavior, the viewer feels the irresistible need to search in this image for the little spark of chance, of the here and now, with which reality scorched the image, of looking for the imperceptible place where the future still nestles in single minutes, there very extinct, and with such eloquence that we can discover it, looking back.” (Benjamin, 1994, p. 94 “Small history of photography”).
